Dr. Biery graduated from UC Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine in June 1980 after obtaining a B.S. degree in Animal Science at UCD in 1976. After graduation Dr. Biery, a California native, spent 14 months doing an internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, Mass. Ed’s next stop was at a busy ten doctor practice in Thousand Oaks, Ca. In 1984 Dr. Biery purchased the Animal Hospital of Cloverdale. In 2020, Dr. Biery sold the practice to long time employees, Katie Silva, DVM and Matt Ostermann, RVT.
Ed and his family have resided in Cloverdale ever since 1984. Both of Ed’s children went through the Cloverdale school system. Ed’s family has had a multitude of pets over the years, many of which were adopted from the Animal Hospital. Dr. Biery’s special interests are surgery and ophthalmology. In his spare time Ed enjoys reading, camping and long walks with his family.
